For the Choose Your Own Adventure I did not really take advantage of the class time and the reason for that is I cannot work in a place that has a lot of people. Although I did not use the time in the classroom, I made time for it at my house where I work best. In class I cannot think straight when there is a lot of commotion, so at my house I wrote my things for the CYOA. When I write at my house, thats when I get my work done and fully express my ideas. For example in class you may have noticed me not working, but I did my work at my house. When I have to share my work I am reluctant because I do not like other people reading my work. But for this project I was comfortable sharing my work. We came prepared with our work, but we had technical difficulties. So for the Peer Critique we did not get as much feedback as we would’ve liked because our entire CYOA did not print. During the Peer Critique I feel as if I gave great feedback. I told Evan’s group what I actually thought about their CYOA. I gave constructive feedback which they fixed because I read their final draft. For my CYOA I did not get as much feedback as I would’ve liked because of technical difficulties but I asked people from other classes to read it and they gave me great constructive criticism. Within our group we also read it outloud to see how we could reword things so our piece would make sense. From having people from other classes read it they told us to make it short and simple and not overwhelming for the sixth grades. I took that advice and made my CYOA short and simple. I believe my group and I communicated our thoughts short and simply. We did not want to overwhelm the reader with too much text.
